IN CLOSING...

While we obviously weren't the first, or even 50th, website that people turned to to read film reviews, what really lead to the site's demise was simply real life. Ryan became a father, Dan battled employment issues, Curtis dedicated his life to poker, Ian stopped liking movies, and Warren frowned upon the idea of CinemaSpeak.com increasingly becoming a one-man operation.

So Warren decided to find another outlet for his writing (read his reviews at Entertainment Insiders), and the rest decided that Internet movie criticism just wasn't their thing (although rumor has it that Dan toys with the idea of making a triumphant return). Oh well…it was (occasionally) fun while it lasted.

<P>The official word is that we're currently on an extended "hiatus,"
but chances are CinemaSpeak.com won't be returning any time soon
(wipe away those tears "Vampire Clan" and "Camera
Obscura" fans). However, the site will remain online for
a long time to come (it's cheap), so we encourage you to peruse
our archives. If you're a publicist, filmmaker, film festival
programmer, or anyone else for that matter, and wish to get in
touch with Warren, please do so at<A HREF= The official word is that we're currently on an extended "hiatus," but chances are CinemaSpeak.com won't be returning any time soon (wipe away those tears "Vampire Clan" and "Camera Obscura" fans).
