It's the moment you've been waiting nearly one year to arrive -- time for CinemaSpeak's 2nd annual Academy Awards contest. The rules are basic -- simply choose a winner in each of the 8 categories listed below (which are assigned different point values), e-mail your picks to us and cheer on your predictions on March 23. The person who accumulates the highest point total wins (in case of a tie, we will defer to the tie-breaker question). It's fast, easy and fun for the whole family. So, send your picks to: contest@cinemaspeak.com by 12:00 P.M. PST on March 23. (Note: One entry per person, please)
The tie-breaker question is: How long will the Academy Awards ceremony last (hours and minutes -- no need to worry about seconds)?
The grand prize winner will receive one of the below DVDs (winner's choice), compiled from past Oscar decorated films, and a stylish CinemaSpeak.com t-shirt! The DVD/video choices are:
Amadeus (Director's
Cut)
American Beauty
Annie Hall
Casablanca
The Graduate
The Last Picture Show
Midnight Cowboy
One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest (Special Edition)
On The Waterfront
Rocky
The Silence of the Lambs (Widescreen Special Edition)
The Unforgiven (Special Edition)
Without further adieu, we give you the
